Area Sales Manager – Technical Fibers | Southeast US (Remote)Please make sure you read the following details carefully before making any applications.I'm supporting a leading manufacturer of high-performance technical fibers looking to add an experienced Area Sales Manager covering North America.This is a technical, customer-facing sales role focused on key account management and new business development across the Americas.The Role:Own direct sales (volume, turnover and profitability) for technical fibers across designated key accountsBuild and manage a sales project pipeline as the foundation for long-term growthIdentify, develop and commercialize new business opportunities in target marketsBuild long-term relationships with customers and prospects, with around 15 customer visits per month (on-site and virtual)Negotiate pricing within established frameworks and resolve customer complaints and technical issuesContribute to market strategy, 1-year and 3-year business plans, and weekly forecastingCoordinate key account and development activity with sales counterparts in Europe and AsiaRepresent the business at select trade shows, exhibitions and conferencesUp to 50% travel, primarily across the US, Canada and MexicoThe Ideal Candidate:B. xhyhwjd Sc. in Chemical, Mechanical or Textile Engineering (or a related field)5+ years of sales, business development or marketing experienceBackground selling textile fibers, ideally with knowledge of spun yarn and/or nonwovens marketsStrong communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage customers at a technical levelProven ability to manage a project pipeline, forecast accurately and hit volume, revenue and margin targetsSelf-driven and organized, comfortable with regular reporting and a high-travel scheduleIf this sounds like you, or someone in your network, message me for a confidential conversation.
