As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, issue badges, and maintain accurate access records. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use computer or tablet systems to support security-related operations. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Monitor and control access to manufacturing and industrial facilities by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorization, and contractor documentation in accordance with site requirements. Operate access control systems, maintain accurate visitor and vehicle entry records, issue and recover temporary credentials, and report access discrepancies to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of facility entrances, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
