Join a dynamic healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as a part-time CT Technologist. This role involves operating diagnostic imaging equipment with professionalism and precision to support medical diagnosis and treatment. You will produce high-quality radiographs, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, patients, and their families.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and timely care to every patient encountered.
• Accurately position patients using accessory devices and instruct on breathing control, adjusting technical factors based on patient size, age, and mobility.
• Operate X-Ray and CT equipment following health and safety regulations and departmental protocols.
• Perform clerical tasks including patient reception, charging, documentation, and exam sign-out procedures.
• Occasionally assist with scheduling for Mammography, X-Ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound.
• Maintain sterile techniques to prevent contamination.
• Participate in Quality Assurance and perform assigned Quality Control tasks.
• Ensure patient confidentiality at all times.
• Engage in continuing education and departmental meetings to maintain proficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness of exam rooms as part of infection control.
• Enter patient information into Radiology Information System (RIS).
• Perform special projects and other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• At least one year of radiologic technologist experience preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

• Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent registry as a Radiologic Technologist and CT Technologist required within one year of hire.
• Current and unrestricted Radiologic Technologist Certification through the appropriate state department of health.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong knowledge of radiographic equipment operation and maintenance.
• Ability to adapt exams to patient care needs and resolve issues effectively.
• Understanding of age-specific growth and development principles to meet patient needs.
• Proficiency with technology including Microsoft Office and PACS/RIS systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare providers, managers, and patients.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working on-call shifts as assigned.

Physical Requirements

Includes frequent lifting and carrying of weights up to 35 lbs, standing, walking, bending, and occasional exposure to bloodborne pathogens. Vision, hearing, and speech within normal range with or without corrective devices.
