Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist with a strong background in home infusion and sterile compounding. The position offers a contract-to-hire arrangement in New Berlin, WI, ideal for candidates with a solid foundation in intravenous (IV) therapy and recent clinical pharmacy experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify IV medication orders ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Prepare and mix IV medications in the clean room following sterile compounding protocols
- Perform various clinical pharmacy duties supporting patient care and medication management
- Participate in on-call rotation every fourth weekend and one night per week
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active and clear Wisconsin pharmacist license
- Minimum of 2 years recent sterile compounding experience required
- At least 2 years recent home infusion experience preferred
- Proven IV preparation and clinical pharmacy skills essential
- CPR certification preferred but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts scheduled between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM
- On-call duty every fourth weekend and one night per week
