Job Title: Travel RN - Labor & Delivery Profession: RN Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active RN License Certifications: Current Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, ACLS, NRP, BLS Must-Have: - Current Intermediate Fetal Monitoring - ACLS - NRP - BLS Description: This is a travel RN position in Labor and Delivery. The unit consists of 10 LDRs and 2 OBED. The typical staffing includes 24 bedside RNs. Day shift core staffing includes 3 RNs, 1 scrub tech, and 1 unit secretary. Night shift patient ratios are 2:1 or 1:1 for high-risk patients. The equipment used includes EMR, CPN (Centricity), and Meditech. Candidates must be proficient in current Intermediate Fetal Monitoring. ACLS, NRP, and BLS certifications are required. Scrub tech skills are preferred. Typical procedures performed include cesarean sections and BTLs/salpingectomies. The best personality fit is someone who is open and adaptable. C-EFM certification is preferred but not required. Floating may be required to postpartum or medical floor as a tech. The dress code is royal blue scrubs. Weekend shifts are required, with 4 weekend shifts per month.
