Sr. Environmental Engineer

ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER (SATELLITES) As part of the the company Satellites Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) team, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical EHS support to our satellite manufacturing teams. You will provide technical expertise and assist in the implementation of all environmental, health and safety to our satellite and dish manufacturing teams. The ideal candidate is highly skilled with both environmental and occupational safety fields, hands-on, and works well in a fast-paced environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop, implement and improve environmental compliance programs at the company’s Silicon Engineering and Satellites locations including Redmond, WA, Woodinville, WA, Sunnyvale, CA, Irvine, CA and Palo Alto, CA Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations established by applicable California, Washington and federal regulatory agencies Track, review, and interpret new and proposed environmental laws and regulations, and provide guidance to management Perform environmental audits to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies Operate and maintain the compliance calendar and other recordkeeping and environmental tracking software Maintain site operational compliance plans including the storm water pollution prevention plan (SWPPP) and spill prevention control and countermeasures plan (SPCC) Responsible for air compliance, recordkeeping and reporting requirements established for permitted sources defined by the local regulatory agencies Maintain the site’s hazardous materials business plan including updates and regulatory submittals Maintain the site’s industrial wastewater discharge permit including updates and regulatory submittals Responsible for hazardous waste compliance and regulatory reporting Coordinate and manage contractors for permitting and environmental testing. Review and maintain reports and other relevant records from assessments and permitting activities Assist the Environmental Health and Safety team with site operational compliance as needed Assist in planning for changes in physical facilities, reviewing new or modified equipment and new manufacturing programs #J-18808-Ljbffr
