This role is ideal for an experienced attorney who will handle cases, work directly with clients, and appear in court to defend clients. Duties Represent clients in criminal cases at all stages of litigation. Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other documents. Assist with case strategy, trial preparation, and negotiations. Appear in court for hearings, trials, and other proceedings. Maintain organized case files and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel. Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. 3+ years of criminal defense experience; active with the AL Bar. Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills. Willingness to learn, take initiative, and manage a caseload. Client-focused with strong interpersonal skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Active membership with the Alabama Bar. Skills Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills. Effective communication with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
