Work Environment

Our rehabilitation center is an onsite facility, fostering a supportive, collaborative environment where therapists and healthcare professionals work closely together to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The work schedule runs Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. You will be part of a dedicated team that values continuing education, professional development, and innovative treatment modalities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical conditions and functional capabilities through a thorough evaluation process, allowing for personalized treatment planning.

• Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans using a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities aimed at enhancing mobility.

• Manage a patient caseload, focusing on one-on-one sessions that encourage understanding of treatment goals and foster patient engagement.
\n
• Monitor patient progress, reassessing and adjusting treatment plans as necessary while maintaining accurate documentation in EMR software such as WebPT.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on exercises, modifications, and self-care strategies to support continued progress toward recovery.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
\n
• Encourage a culture of wellness by promoting strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance through tailored fitness and wellness programs.

• Provide mentorship to junior staff and assist in the continued education efforts within the facility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on individuals experiencing orthopedic issues related to injuries, surgical recovery, chronic pain, and various musculoskeletal disorders. You will work with a diverse range of patients, including athletes, active adults, and elderly individuals, each with unique needs and rehabilitation goals. Your ability to assess and adapt treatment plans to meet these varying requirements will be key to your success.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.

• Active Florida Physical Therapist license with no history of board or disciplinary actions.
\n
• Proven proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design and implement effective exercise programs.

• Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, for efficient patient record management.
\n

Preferred Experience

• Previous work experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable, as the role demands specific knowledge of orthopedic conditions and rehabilitation protocols.

• Demonstrated success in developing and executing customized therapy programs that lead to improved patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
