About the Unit

• 24-bed Pulmonary Care Unit
• 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio (may flex to 1:6)
• Treats patients with COPD, asthma, pneumonia, respiratory failure, pulmonary embolism, and other respiratory conditions

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides compassionate, evidence-based care while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans that promote optimal health outcomes.

 

Work Environment

 

This is a hospital-based role in a dynamic acute care setting, caring for patients with a variety of pulmonary and medical conditions. Nurses work closely with respiratory therapists, providers, and care teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

 

This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus and relocation. 

What We're Looking For:

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
• Experience:  One year relevant experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:  Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
