Vacuum Thermoformed Plastics Set up Process Technician 1st Shift

Job Description

Vacuum Form Process Technician oversees all tasks associated with the vacuum forming machines and all other related equipment.

Duties, skills required and expectations included but not limited to the positions are:

• Installing the correct molds/inserts into the correct machines
• Prepping materials for production
• Cleaning machine off; put all tools away after changeover
• Using the correct tools for the job
• Answering machine alarms
• Identifying and reporting issues and potential issues to the Plant Manager
• Fixing part defects
• Fixing machine faults
• Adding oil and lubricating fluid to machines as needed
• Comply with all company policies and procedures: see Employee Handbook
• Providing support to meet department and company objectives
• Able to communicate effectively and respectfully with machine operators and Quality, Shift Supervisors, Plant Manager, and any or all employment contacts.
