Video Podcast Producer

Enthusiastic about exploring the intersection of technology and society, the full-time Video Podcast Producer will lead the production of "Galaxy Brain," collaborating with the host and team to develop compelling episodes while managing all aspects of production from pre- to post-production, including script drafting and audio-visual quality assurance. Key responsibilities: Collaborate with the host and supervising producer to pitch show topics and manage the creative process Oversee the entire production process, ensuring high-quality audio and video during recordings and managing post-production edits Coordinate with various teams to uphold production standards and manage the show's production calendar Required qualifications: Proven experience in journalism and video production, preferably in podcasting Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and experience with remote recording tools like Riverside Strong understanding of lighting, audio, and camera operation for video production Outstanding editorial judgment with a track record of producing high-quality work under tight deadlines Familiarity with YouTube and podcast distribution platforms; motion graphics experience is a plus
