Inventory Parts Manager – Augusta, GA We are looking for an experienced Inventory Manager to support our General Manager in overseeing and directing operations across all service centers to ensure resources are managed efficiently and meet company objectives. This role involves coordinating and directing quality programs to maintain high standards of operations, safety, and asset longevity. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary: $47,000 – $58,000 per year Vacation: minimum of two weeks Sick days: 5 days Holidays: 12 days (8 standard and 4 floating) 401(k) retirement plan Medical, dental and vision coverage Life insurance Short‑term disability Voluntary long‑term disability Key Responsibilities Maintain parts inventory levels to support all shop services. Design, implement, and oversee cost‑quality purchasing programs. Manage an effective parts catalog system. Handle warranty claims and core exchange program. Conduct quarterly physical inventories. Provide timely support to operational staff. Supervise daily functions of parts personnel; provide training, technical support, and assistance. Secure parts facility and inventory. Recommend improvements to achieve an exemplary quality parts facility. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, plus a minimum of four years operating a parts room. Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills. Computer literate and experienced with fleet management systems; working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access. Valid driver’s license with at least three years of experience. Subject to DOT drug testing and physical (if required); DOT Regulation 49CFR Part40 compliance. Physical Requirements The essential functions include: Prolonged sitting (up to 6–8 hours per day) and frequent walking; ability to navigate uneven or slippery surfaces. Push and pull objects; lift materials up to 50 lbs.; occasional bending, kneeling, or crouching to access ground‑level files. Work in heavy traffic areas; tolerate dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.
