Ability to problem solve. Able to adapt exam routines and techniques when necessary to optimize quality of exams. Good interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work closely with radiologists and other physicians. Must have moderate computer and organizational skills. Ability to handle stress. Ability to perform venipuncture. Knowledge of sterile preparation and procedures. Working knowledge of all facets of nuclear medicine imaging and processing techniques, equipment and radiation safety. Working knowledge of radiopharmaceutical kit prep and QC procedures.Experience: Registered or registry eligible according to department policy.Essential Duties/Responsibilities:Provides quality patient care.Performs exams using good judgment in scanning, photographing, and documenting anatomy/pathology.Assists the radiologist and other physicians with interpretation of exams.Assists the radiologists and other physicians with invasive procedures.Transports patients to and from department or other areas within the hospital.Performs administration of radioactive material (oral and IV).Coordinates clinical information and previous testing to determine if additional views or organs need be imaged.Manages radiopharmaceuticals including proper labeling, injection techniques, QC, patient ID, and ordering.Administer adjunctive medications according to established protocol.About Boulder Community Health and Boulder, Colorado:Boulder Community Health (BCH) is a not-for-profit healthcare organization based in Boulder, Colorado, serving the Boulder County community.
