Direct Support Professionals ( DSP) Needed!

Position Details
Pay Rate: $19/hr
Schedule: Days and Nights available
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation
- Provide supportive care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment within the home
- Monitor and record vital signs when required
- Assist with mobility and ensure the safety of residents at all times
- Transport clients to appointments, community activities, or errands when required
- Follow care plans and tasks assigned by the House Manager, LPN, or RN
- Provide emotional support and encourage independence in daily activities
- Accurately document services and report any behavioral or health concerns
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Direct Support Professional with high behavioral individuals
- State Certified Direct Support Professional (DSP)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current CPR (hands-on) and First Aid Certification
- TB test within 1 year or Quantiferon Gold test
- Physical examination completed within the past year
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both day and night shifts
