ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Consolidate components for work orders and make appropriate inventory transactions Count parts daily to ensure inventory accuracy Enter part quantities in Oracle Count parts manually Gather relevant blueprints; build sheets and necessary parts and hardware for assembly Use mechanical ability, work instructions and hand tools to assemble products and package accordingly Resolve routine questions and problems and refers more complex issues to a higher level for resolution Knowledge of and ability to process paperwork such as work orders, picklists, etc. Ability to read, understand and utilize work orders. Alert Team Leader of pending or imminent problems Ability to operate an RF Scanner to make appropriate inventory move transactions Maintain excellent housekeeping within the department to ensure safety and efficiency Must be a self-starter with ability to work independently Material Handling and Transportation of Product Work Safely and comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures Use all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required Must be able to work scheduled overtime hours Provide coverage for other members of the shipping and receiving department Assist other departments as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Work and operate forklift safely For internal positions, no written warnings (within 12 months) Must be DCI licensed to operate a forklift and able to demonstrate proficiently in the operation of department equipment for which applying. Ability to use computer, proficiency in Oracle, PDM, MS-Office, MSDS Online, web based apps, etc. RF Reader experience preferred Perform a variety of tasks throughout the day in a fast-paced work environment
