The client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Carpenter to join a dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality carpentry work across a variety of projects, ensuring that all tasks meet safety standards, specifications, and client expectations.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your craftsmanship, technical knowledge, and problem-solving skills in diverse construction environments. As a key member of the team, you will help build durable structures, restore existing facilities, and deliver exceptional results on time and within project scope.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute carpentry tasks.

• Construct, install, repair, and maintain frameworks including walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, and roofing systems using hand and power tools.

• Perform framing work including wood framing, metal stud framing, and concrete forming with precision and efficiency.

• Install cabinetry, doors, siding, trim, fixtures, and other finish carpentry components.

• Perform restoration work including water damage remediation, plastering, stucco application, mold remediation, and general renovation tasks.

• Measure and fabricate materials accurately; safely perform heavy lifting and material handling.

• Ensure all work complies with design specifications and jobsite safety protocols.

• Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight for apprentice carpenters and laborers.

• Promote teamwork, productivity, quality workmanship, and a positive jobsite culture.

• Proven experience as a Journeyman Carpenter or in a similar construction role.

• Strong portfolio of completed carpentry and construction projects.

• Extensive knowledge of construction methods, estimating processes, and blueprint reading.

• Hands-on experience with:

  • Trim carpentry

  • Framing carpentry

  • Metal stud framing

  • Drywall installation and plastering

  • Flooring installation

  • Tile installation

  • Roofing

  • Siding installation

  • Fixture installation

• Experience mentoring apprentice carpenters and laborers.

• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, saws, drills, chisels, CNC equipment, and concrete forming or rebar installation tools.

• Familiarity with restoration industry practices, including water damage restoration and mold remediation.

• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, masonry techniques, and general construction practices is a plus.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and fabrication schematics.

• Strong physical stamina, problem-solving ability, and commitment to jobsite safety.
