Job Description Seeking a qualified Pharmacy Technician for a travel assignment in a high-volume hospital setting. Must have experience in sterile, non-sterile, and hazardous drug compounding, including neonatal and pediatric IV preparation. The role requires flexibility with rotating shifts and a commitment to quality patient care. Responsibilities Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounds, ensuring accuracy and safety in neonatal and pediatric settings. Perform hazardous drug compounding following strict safety protocols. Utilize medication dispensing systems such as Pyxis MedStation and DoseEdge to accurately select and distribute medications. Adhere to unit-specific policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Maintain thorough documentation within Meditech and other pharmacy management systems. Support the transition to 12-hour shift schedules and ensure coverage during assigned hours. Qualifications Hold a valid Florida Pharmacy Technician license. Possess at least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience, with specific neonatal and pediatric IV preparation skills. Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential required. Demonstrate proficiency in sterile and hazardous drug compounding. Ability to adapt to rotating, 12-hour shift schedules, including weekends.
