Our Member Advisors partner directly with school IT leaders and CIOs, serving as trusted advisors who recommend tailored technology solutions, from student devices and classroom audiovisual systems to cybersecurity and web filtering. Backed by strong industry partnerships, we empower educational institutions to make smart investments that deliver lasting impact for students, faculty, and communities.

Key Responsibilities

Targeted Demand Generation& Campaigns

  • Execute targeted demand generation initiatives to engage key decision-makers across prospective and non-buying accounts.
  • Design and execute multi-channel campaigns focused on high-growth areas, including auxiliary product lines, cybersecurity solutions, devices, and new OEM hardware & software partnerships.
  • Develop an integrated marketing calendar aligned with educational procurement and fiscal budget cycles to maximize engagement and conversion.

Sales Enablement & Content Creation

  • Develop high-impact, brand-agnostic collateral that addresses key buyer pain points and supports consultative sales conversations.
  • Execute a comprehensive 90-day enablement roadmap: refresh line cards, produce vendor-neutral buying guides, publish category overviews, and build device lifecycle resources.
  • Enhance RFP responses and independently design professional pitch decks, competitive battle cards, and supporting visual assets.
  • Distill complex technical specifications and vendor details into clear, actionable, and brand-agnostic sales enablement tools.
  • Lead sales onboarding and continuous messaging training to ensure Member Advisors can effectively leverage new tools and resources.
  • Track content adoption and measure collateral ROI to continuously optimize sales tools and drive deal velocity.
  • Establish a structured sales-marketing feedback loop to maintain alignment between campaign strategy and field interactions.

Partner Relationship & Event Management

  • Help manage key vendor partner relationships, co-marketing requests, training schedules, lead distribution (e.g., HP, Dell), and joint performance reporting.
  • Plan and execute regional member field events, partner summits, industry trade shows, and co-sponsored regional conferences.
  • Oversee event logistics and marketing assets, including event display kits, collateral inventories, and demonstration hardware.

Marketing Operations & RevOps Support

  • Leverage Salesforce and HubSpot to optimize database accuracy, build segmented target lists, and ensure high campaign deliverability.
  • Maintain a centralized marketing calendar to provide clear visibility into campaign schedules and outreach timing for the sales team.
  • Maintain accurate partner records in Salesforce, including state-level contacts, contract margins, and active incentive programs.
  • High adoption and active utilization of newly launched sales collateral, brand-agnostic buying guides, and category-specific enablement tools by Member Advisors.
  • Measurable campaign engagement and lead conversion across non-buying and targeted growth accounts through well-timed, education-aligned marketing initiatives.

What Success Looks Like

  • Development and successful execution of a clear, actionable 90-day enablement plan that brings fresh, innovative ideas to OETC's marketing strategy.
  • High adoption and active utilization of newly launched sales collateral, brand-agnostic buying guides, and category-specific enablement tools by Member Advisors.
  • Active role in driving, qualifying, and onboarding new sales leads across prospective and targeted growth accounts through education-aligned marketing initiatives.
  • Measurable campaign engagement and lead conversion across non-buying and targeted growth accounts through well-timed, education-aligned marketing initiatives.
  • Strong, collaborative alignment between marketing, sales teams, and executive leadership.

Qualifications

  • Industry Expertise: Deep knowledge of the K–12 and higher education technology landscapes, with a demonstrated ability to create messaging that resonates with CTOs, CIOs, and district IT leadership.
  • CRM & Marketing Automation: Hands-on experience with HubSpot for segmentation and automated workflows, combined with Salesforce expertise for sales tracking and pipeline analytics.
  • Visual & Graphic Design: Proven ability to independently design clean, professional sales collateral, pitch decks, and digital assets using tools like Canva.
  • Strategic Execution: Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration to deliver practical, solution-oriented content aligned with business goals.
  • Proactive Initiative: A proactive go-getter who regularly consults with the sales team to identify enablement needs and independently develops impactful solutions.
  • Creative Enablement: Demonstrated success in creative sales enablement, translating complex technical information into compelling messaging that empowers the sales team and cuts through market noise.

Compensation & Benefits

  • OETC covers 100% of benefit premiums for employees and their dependents. Coverage begins on the first of the month following your start date.
  • Medical, Dental & Vision: Fully paid Moda Connexus Platinum 500 medical plan, VSP vision coverage, and a choice between Moda Delta Dental Premier 1500 or Willamette Dental Direct Option 3.
  • Retirement: OETC contributes 15% of your monthly salary into a SEP IRA managed by Summit Wealth Management (eligibility begins after 90 days of employment).
  • Paid Time Off (PTO): Employees accrue 80 hours of PTO per year, increasing to 120 hours annually after five years of employment.
  • Sick Leave: Sick pay accrues at 8 hours per month.
  • Holidays: Seven paid holidays observed annually (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day), plus one floating holiday for Veterans Day or Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
  • Life & Disability: Life, Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D), short-term disability, and long-term disability coverage are fully employer-paid through UNUM.
