Contract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide shift-accountable nursing care during antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care to Labor and Delivery patients
• Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policy and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for safe delivery of care
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• STABLE certification required
• Fetal Monitoring competency required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in high-volume or fast-paced Labor & Delivery settings
• Strong leadership and clinical decision-making abilities in obstetrical care environments
