As a Corrections Facility Maintenance Manager 3, you will perform the following duties:Project Coordination: Plan, monitor, and support construction activities by reviewing designs, attending meetings, and overseeing contractor workTechnical Oversight: Inspect facilities, evaluate equipment reliability, and confirm adherence to construction documents and standardsStaff Guidance: Advise maintenance personnel, supervise inmate work crews, and provide oversight of repairs and improvementsPolicy Development: Create and implement maintenance policies to support safety, compliance, and efficient facility operationsField Inspection: Travel to facilities, perform progress inspections, and verify project completeness and adherence to department expectationsOperational Support: Analyze mechanical issues, explore energy-saving solutions, and assist in planning for future maintenance needsInterested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description.Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per weekWork hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.Work Location: This position is based at 1920 Technology Parkway in Mechanicsburg, PA, with the option to consider an alternate State Correctional Institution location if requested and available.This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55 when the employee is designated to work inside a State Correctional Institution. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.Required Experience, Training & EligibilityQualificationsMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:One year of experience as a Facility Maintenance Manager 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); orTwo years as a Facility Maintenance Manager 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); orThree years of experience as a Utilities Supervisor (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); orSeven years of experience in the construction, maintenance or repair of buildings; or the operation, maintenance and repair of utility services equipment, including four years in a managerial or supervisory capacity; orAny equivalent combination of experience and training.Other Requirements:You must meet the PA residency requirement.
