About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years recent experience as a Progressive Care Unit or Stepdown Nurse License: Current licensure by the state Board of Nursing Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA Must-Have: - Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the assigned unit/department. - Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. - Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare personnel. Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
