Physician - Emergency Medicine

The University of Kansas Health System Great Bend Campus is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine physician with Emergency Department experience to join its growing, full‑service emergency medicine team.

This position offers the opportunity to practice in a collaborative, team‑based environment with experienced Emergency Medicine Boarded physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) while delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care to the community. The physician will work closely with colleagues across the Emergency Department to evaluate, diagnose, treat, and stabilize patients presenting with a broad range of emergent and urgent medical conditions.

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine with emergency medicine experience
• Eligible for licensure in Kansas

About the University of Kansas Great Bend Campus

The University of Kansas Health System Great Bend Campus includes a 33‑bed, not‑for‑profit hospital with short‑term acute care services and Level IV trauma. It offers orthopedic, obstetric, surgical units, radiology and an emergency department.

The campus also hosts the Medical Pavilion, which provides specialty ambulatory care including obstetrics/gynecology, family medicine, general surgery and specialty clinics.
