Summary You will serve as a GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST of NAVSUP FLC PUGET SOUND. Duties You will serve as a GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST of NAVSUP FLC PUGET SOUND. Requirements Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying a practical knowledge of well-established, and commonly applied supply principles, concepts, and methodologies in order to perform Supply Specialist work, investigating, analyzing, and resolving a variety of supply operations, procurement, management, and inventory problems related acquiring subsistence provisions. Experience communicating factual and procedural information clearly, orally, and in writing is also required. Examples of specialized experience may include the following: 1) Procurement of subsistence provisions (both Perishable and Semi-Perishable), in order to coordinate actions with vendors and customers, and so specific customer requests are satisfied; 2) Gather investigate, and process all orders/receipts, by means of personal computers, accessing various software applications and databases, such as Logistics Support-Customer Relationship Management (LS-CRM), REMEDY, STORESWEB, Microsoft Office, etc.; 3) Receive material requests from customers, and coordinate the best method of acquisition; 4) Analyze, plan, and carry out successive steps, and recommend actions to eliminate problems/deviations involved in the delivery of subsistence services to supply customers.
