Compounding Operations | Bakersfield, CA | Relocation Package Available
A leading compounding pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Supervisor to oversee pharmacist operations, quality initiatives, and regulatory compliance within a specialized animal health environment.
The ideal candidate combines hands-on sterile compounding expertise with proven leadership experience and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of pharmacy practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily activities of pharmacist staff
- Ensure compliance with USP <795> , <797> , and <800> standards
- Support quality assurance and process improvement initiatives
- Oversee training, competency, and operational documentation
- Guide workflow management and staffing priorities
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with leadership to achieve operational goals
Qualifications
- Current California Pharmacist license
- BS Pharmacy or PharmD
- 2+ years of pharmacy supervisory or management experience
- 2+ years of sterile compounding experience
- Strong understanding of USP standards, pharmacy regulations, and 503A compounding requirements
- Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities
