Job Description

We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Truss Assembler to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. In this role, you will fabricate roof and floor trusses and wall panels by assembling components according to engineered specifications. The ideal candidate has construction or framing experience, can read a tape measure accurately, and thrives in a team-oriented environment focused on quality, safety, and productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble roof trusses, floor trusses, and wall panels according to engineering layouts and production specifications
• Set up assembly jigs, apply connector plates, and verify measurements and product quality throughout production
• Inspect completed products for accuracy, squareness, spans, depths, heel heights, and other critical specifications
• Stack, bundle, label, and move finished products while maintaining production goals and safety standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, restock materials, and assist with additional production duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform frequent bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, squatting, climbing, and standing throughout the shift
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/16 inch with no errors
• Experience using construction tools and equipment including nail guns, hammers, saws, tape measures, forklifts, and press machines
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; previous truss, panel, framing, or construction experience strongly preferred
• Must supply a 25-foot (or longer) tape measure and a 20-ounce (or larger) framing hammer

The base salary range for this position is $22-24 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
