These raw materials include stock hollow core door slabs, solid core door slabs and special-order door slabs. This individual ensures all work is completed on time based on a demanding production schedule; working efficiently, accurately, and with a strong commitment to safety, time management and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Follow a production schedule. Update completion notifications on the computerRead and understand instructions on Work Orders to pick and build correctlyPre-stage work orders materials to begin the manufacturing processOperate the door machine on the production lineAssemble door slabs and door parts into a finished product using a nail tableQuality Control and Routine Maintenance of machinery and productsMaterial Handling of inventory along with Forklift Operation, pallet jack, or dollyTroubleshoot and resolve issues regarding finished product inspectionsManufacture door accessories including pre-cut jambs, headers and casingsUse a scan gun to process work orders for WMS and BistrackInventory and Cycle Count materials on a weekly basisKeep a clean and organized work environmentCommunicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkersFollow all safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions to direct managerThe Door Shop is a fast paced work environment which requires attention to details, being aware of your surroundings, taking ownership and pride in your craftsmanship; working with power tools, heavy equipment; punctuality, eagerness to learn and work as a team to accomplish one main goal of producing a quality product to achieve customer satisfaction.QualificationsRequirements & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferredPrior experience in a manufacturing, construction, or production environment is a plusAbility to read a tape measure and basic drawings or blueprintsComfortable operating hand tools, power tools, and basic machineryAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and reachingStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityGood communication skills and a team-player attitudeWillingness to learn and grow within the companyWork ScheduleMonday through FridayShift hours may vary based on production needs (typically 1st shift, with occasional overtime)
