The position engages directly with children, youth, and their parents using nationally recognized, evidence-based and research supported practices to increase well-being and promote positive outcomes. Our program leadership provides training and ongoing coaching to certify Clinical Support Specialists as Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHP).The ideal candidate must be self-disciplined, thorough, and value getting it right. In addition to direct contact with our clients the position is responsible for documentation and adherence to predetermined protocols, policies, and procedures with a high degree of accuracy.Successful candidates must possess a minimum of a bachelors degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field as specified in the Texas Administrative Code for QMHP qualifications. Also, candidates should possess basic therapeutic skills, verbal, and written communication skills, and organizational skills.
