Job Summary Location: UCHealth Highlands Ranch Pavilion 2, Highlands Ranch, CO Department: UCHealth Medical Group HRH Pav 2 Heart & Vascular Work Schedule: Full Time, 80 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $33.61 - $52.10 per hour, dependent on experience This position is onsite; no hybrid or remote option. Responsibilities Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize resources. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate; collaborate across disciplines to coordinate care including transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support. Evaluate learning needs of patients and/or families and provide education tailored to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Effectively delegate patient care to ancillary personnel; may precept student nurses and new hires. Within scope, use critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment. Requirements Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Registered Nurse (RN) with state licensure. Graduated from an accredited or state board of nursing approved RN program if less than 3 years experience. 6 months of nursing experience. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Preferred: Cardiology, ICU, and/or Cath Lab RN experience.
