About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Data Analytics Officer (CDAO) to lead its institution-wide data strategy, reporting, and analytics. The CDAO will be responsible for ensuring compliance reporting and collaborating with senior staff to support data-driven decisions that foster institutional growth, student and academic success, and long-term financial health. This strategic and operational leader will oversee data governance, business intelligence, analytics, institutional reporting, predictive modeling, and enterprise performance measurement, with a focus on the accuracy, security, accessibility, and responsible use of institutional data. The role is pivotal in supporting the company's strategic priorities and requires the ability to communicate complex analyses in a clear and concise manner to inform decision-making. Applicants for the CDAO position at the company must have a master's degree in a quantitative field, with a doctorate preferred, and a minimum of 8 years' experience in institutional analytics, research, or statistical analysis, preferably within higher education. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale datasets, advanced statistical modeling, and predictive analytics, as well as expertise in data governance and reporting. Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership skills are essential, as is the ability to foster a culture of data stewardship and promote data literacy for evidence-based decision-making. The role demands a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and a deep knowledge of technology and data analytics trends.
