2/2/3 Days - Set Up Tech/Mold Setter

We are working with a dynamic company that is growing and looking to find their new Mold Setter / Set Up Technician. To be the "ideal candidate" for this role, you will be a person who pays attention to the little details, enjoys repairing industrial machinery and being hands-on.

salary: $37,500 - $58,240 per year
shift: First
work hours: 5:45 AM - 6 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Install and remove injection molds in a safe and efficient manner.
• Communicate the status of mold changes to the operators, supervisors, technicians, and process engineers.
• Mold installs will consist of clamping mold in the press, proper mold alignment, water, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical connections.
• Mold pulls will consist of disconnecting all mold connections, putting all components in mold specific box, transporting mold to toolroom or stored area, and preparation of injection molding machine for incoming mold.
• Troubleshoot any issues with injection molding machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment.
• Maintain organization of mold boxes and components.
• Create mold boxes and necessary components for new molds.
• Train other Setup team members on safety, operational procedures, and startups.
• Complete LOTO, Crane, Forklift, and Fall protection training.
• Working Knowledge of SQF and GMP procedures.
• Perform daily housekeeping to provide a clean and safe work environment.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• working up to 20 hrs of overtime per week
