Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Night Shift)

Location

Andover, Kansas

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Full-Time | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a freestanding emergency department setting with a 1:4 patient ratio
• Perform all routine emergency department nursing procedures including assessment, triage, and treatment
• Administer respiratory therapy procedures such as breathing treatments and BiPAP as needed
• Conduct point-of-care laboratory testing as required by patient needs
• Anticipate and proactively assist with physician orders to support efficient patient flow
• Collaborate with a team of RNs and clinical staff to deliver safe, high-quality emergency care

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of current, acute care Emergency Department RN experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Current PALS and TNCC certifications

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a freestanding emergency department (FSED)
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate provider orders and proactively support team members
• Experience with Meditech EMR
