Maintenance Manager

Description The Maintenance Manager is responsible for all aspects of plant maintenance, including oversight of maintenance personnel, powered industrial equipment and stationary equipment. Collaboration with the Maintenance Supervisor, Production Supervisor, and Plant Manager to ensure equipment reliability while maximizing operational efficiency and minimizing production downtime. Major tasks, responsibilities, and key accountabilities: Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers' expectations. Assigns tasks to respective maintenance staff and managers the quality and timeliness of task completion Conducts regular audits of all equipment and facilities, including but not limited to: Building HVAC Electrical Relevant security equipment Powered Industrial equipment Stationary equipment Collaborates with area Production Managers as needed. Ensure spare parts are in stock. Provide training, development, and coaching to maintenance staff. Effective and accurate troubleshooting methods for equipment repair with root cause analysis of malfunction and options for remediation. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Develops and manages performance matrices for the team. Helps to monitor maintenance records. Helps to manage FIXX tasks. Maintained Preventive Maintenance schedules. Additional Responsibilities: On-call ability as needed Provides report information to the leadership team Requirements Preferred Qualifications: Possesses a bachelor's degree from an accredited university Minimum 5 yrs experience in Manufacturing Qualifications: Experience - knowledge of OSHA and other governmental regulations; incident and accident prevention Leadership - the ability to command and maintain the attention of those you are overseeing Organization - an ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Effective communication - the ability to convincingly convey instructions, directions, and details to others Attention to detail - the ability to manage all duties, rules, documentation, and other components of the job with focus and accuracy Confidentiality - the ability to protect data, information, and employee privacy Collaborative - an ability to work with diverse personalities for a tangible and beneficial outcome Salaried/Remote Employees: Universal Pure facilities may process, pack, and or store products containing allergenic food ingredients as referenced by FDA, occasional exposure may occur, inform your direct manager of any food allergies. Working Conditions This job operates in a cold and wet environment located within the facility. Requires standing for the entire shift, bending, twisting, and lifting. Ability to lift 45 pounds or more on a regular basis. Push/pull up to 250 pounds on rollers regularly.
