Job Summary

The Foreclosure Process Manager oversees the end-to-end foreclosure workflow for residential or commercial properties in default. This role is responsible for leading a team of foreclosure specialists, ensuring absolute compliance with federal and state regulations, minimizing financial risk, and managing relationships with outside legal counsel and vendors. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in default servicing, data-driven performance management, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

·         Process & Portfolio Management: Direct and optimize the daily operations of the foreclosure department from initial legal referral through foreclosure sale and post-sale title conveyance.

·         Compliance & Quality Control: Maintain total compliance with state laws (judicial and non-judicial), federal regulations, and investor/insurer guidelines. Ensure pre-referral audits and pre-sale reviews are meticulously conducted.

·         Vendor & Attorney Oversight: Act as the primary point of contact for outside legal counsel. Monitor attorney performance, manage timelines, enforce service level agreements (SLAs), and audit vendor costs and fee structures.

·         Loss Mitigation Coordination: Cross-functionally partner with Loss Mitigation, Bankruptcy, and Real Estate Owned (REO) departments to review exception cases, evaluate short sale or deed-in-lieu alternatives, and pause foreclosure activities when applicable.

·         Team Leadership & Development: Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate foreclosure staff. Foster an environment of accountability and continuous process improvement.
