Shipping Receiving Clerk - 1st Shift

What you’ll do Load and unload trucks and verify items against purchase orders, packing lists, and shipping documents. Stage, package, label, and secure materials and finished goods; flag damage or discrepancies. Prepare accurate shipping paperwork and coordinate pickups with carriers and plant teams. Record receipts, shipments, and material movements in the inventory system. Help with cycle counts, investigate inventory discrepancies, and move materials safely between the dock, warehouse, and production areas. Support packing and other trained tasks when needed. What you’ll bring A high school diploma or GED. At least six months of warehouse, shipping, receiving, or manufacturing experience. The ability to read shipping documents and product labels, use basic math and computer applications, and keep accurate records. Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to adjust as shipping and production needs change. The ability to obtain site forklift authorization; prior forklift experience is preferred. Two or more years of inventory or material movement experience is a plus. This role involves standing, walking, bending, reaching, and handling materials in a manufacturing and warehouse environment. Hours may vary with production and shipping needs, including overtime.
