Maintenance Tech

Duties and Responsibilities Perform general Maintenance works to avoid possible failures and malfunctions Assist in developing preventive and corrective maintenance programs Complete daily work assignments in a timely and accurate manner Analyze repair requests and troubleshoot them Perform machine fabrications Perform installations, assembling, fittings, repairs, and replacements as needed Handle emergency maintenance and repair works Stock adequate maintenance materials and equipment to avoid shortages and excesses Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary Operate maintenance equipment safely to avoid accidents Maintain the maintenance tools and equipment in safe, clean, and good working conditions. Provide assistance to co- workers when needed Adhere to company policies, safety regulations, OSHA, GMP, and SQF Standards Uphold attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure with constant deadlines Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area Qualifications Bilingual – Spanish is a plus, but not required At least one (1) year of experience as a mechanic Must have a valid driver’s license Must pass a Motor Vehicle Check Forklift experience is a plus, but not required. Willingness to learn Forklift required Experience with Excel, Email, Word Physical Demands of the Position Constant standing, walking, bending, etc. Occasional lifting and moving of various mechanical parts (up to 50lbs) Senses: Hearing, sight (near, far), smell Environmental Factors Exposure to noise, heat, dust, and fumes Rolling conveyors and forklifts present Pay is between $25-$30 THE GIFTING COMPANY is an Equal Opportunity Employer – Minorities, Females and Veterans are encouraged to apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr
