Aspire has health centers in five Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.Position SummaryThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of all Aspire buildings and grounds, and will perform a variety of tasks, such as plumbing, electrical, general carpentry repairs and painting. This position will be required to be on rotation on-call (24/7) schedule. Some local travel required.Education/Experience/RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum of two (2) years' experience in general maintenanceKnowledgeable in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry highly preferredKnowledgeable of residential and/or commercial systems components, such as HVAC, electrical and/or plumbing highly preferredFacilities experience in a mental health facility or healthcare setting preferredMust have the ability to work from a ladder, lift at least 100 lbs., operate hand and power tools (hammers, saws, screwdrivers, drills, power saws, chainsaws, etc.), and drive large and small trucks with standard or automatic transmissionsMust maintain a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance and a driving record that meets the guidelines and requirements of the organizationDrug screen, TB test and extensive background checks (including Criminal History, Sex Offender Registry Search, State Central Registry Check, Education Verification, and Professional References) are required of all Aspire employees.All individuals who join Aspire are strongly encouraged to have a flu shot and be fully vaccinated against COVID19 prior to joining Aspire to further protect our staff and the patients we serve.
