Work-Life Balance & Schedule Office Hours: Monday–Saturday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM No After-Hours: We do not see patients after hours or handle on-call emergencies. Holidays: We are strictly closed on Sundays and all major holidays. Requirements Education & Licensing: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) and a valid California Veterinary License. Clinical Skills: Competency in performing thorough physical examinations, executing diagnostics, and developing effective inpatient and outpatient treatment plans. Client Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly explain exam findings, diagnostics, and treatment plans to clients, as well as compassionately guide them through end-of-life decisions. Medical Operations: Commitment to prescribing, monitoring, and dispensing medications safely, while maintaining thorough, efficient medical records. Surgical Skills: Proficiency in general surgeries (e.g., spays, neuters, laceration repairs, abscess treatments) is a plus. Professional Growth: We eagerly support your desire to expand your surgical skills and responsibilities as your clinical proficiency and continuing education progress.
