Maintenance Technician II - Direct Hire
Plymouth, MN
A growing manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to support facility and production equipment operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance, and helping minimize downtime across the facility.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing maintenance and repairs on production and facility equipment
- Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
- Supporting preventive maintenance programs and equipment setup
- Monitoring inventory of maintenance supplies and spare parts
- Using maintenance systems to manage work orders and documentation
- Operating forklifts, lifts, and other equipment safely
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment while following safety standards
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience with related degree OR 4+ years of hands-on manufacturing maintenance experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift
