Senior SME, Fleet Turnarounds A permanent full‑time position responsible for the overall performance, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of the fleet‑wide turnaround process. The role provides strategic leadership and oversight to designated outage teams, mentoring and guiding them through planning and execution of each turnaround. Responsibilities Lead end‑to‑end turnaround process across the fleet, driving consistency and standardization. Provide technical expertise and operational support to asset teams. Integrate Capital and Operations & Maintenance projects into planning and execution. Develop, maintain, and review asset long‑term plans. Establish performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Identify and mentor the turnaround team for deliverables and responsibilities. Identify and implement continuous improvement best practices in the turnover process and execution. Establish and maintain effective communication with contractors and service providers. Education B.Sc. in Engineering with a P.Eng. designation OR College/University level management/business degree (Preferred). Experience 10+ years Project Management experience, including 5+ years in Turnaround. 5+ years on‑site Power Generating Plant experience, preferably in maintenance. Technical Skills Prepare and obtain approval for large multi‑year budgets and execution. Technical experience with all turnaround planning and execution systems and processes. Root cause analysis and problem resolution skills. Experience with RFQ, sourcing, and contract negotiations. Excellent communication skills. Ability to manage and mentor resources that are not direct reports. Highly self‑motivated with proven ability to deliver on challenging goals. Ability to work in fast‑paced, energetic environments with tight deadlines. Working Conditions Heavy industrial facility, safety‑sensitive location. Physical mobility and use of PPE required. Multi‑union/out‑of‑scope workforce. Travel up to 20%. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $147,000.00 to $161,000.00 (dependent on qualifications). Eligible for health care benefits, retirement benefits, paid time off, and annual bonus. May be considered for remote work, depending on role requirements. Referral reward of $1,500 for employees who refer a successful candidate. Additional Information The position will remain open until a suitable candidate is found. This role is eligible for a pre‑employment drug test clearance, and legally requires eligibility to work in the United States of America.
