Independent Contractor Driver – Special Needs Student Transportation

We are currently seeking safe, reliable drivers i n the St. Louis (and surrounding communities) to help transport special needs students to and from school.

Schedule:
Monday–Friday, morning and afternoon routes

Pay:
$25–$32 per hour
(Pay may increase depending on the number of routes and total distance driven.)

This is a rewarding, flexible independent contractor opportunity that typically requires 5–15 hours per week , with potential to earn $310–$600+ per week .

Position Overview

Drivers transport students using their personally owned vehicle , while monitors assist students during transportation.

Active drivers may also earn referral bonuses for recommending qualified drivers or monitors who successfully complete onboarding and begin driving routes.

Vehicle & Equipment Requirements

Drivers must provide a personally owned vehicle that meets the following requirements:

• State-registered 4-door car, SUV, or van
• Preferably 10 years old or newer
• Clean, safe, and in good operating condition
• Must own a smartphone to use the driver route app

Additional certification or licensing may be required depending on school district or local regulations .
Reimbursement is available for required onboarding costs.

Onboarding Process

After job acceptance, drivers complete a web-based onboarding program , which includes:

• Professional online certification
• Background check
• Drug screening at a local lab

The process typically takes 2 weeks before routes are assigned.

Drivers must be self-motivated and able to complete the online onboarding and training process.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older (drivers)
• Monitors must be 18 years or older
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• Must speak English (bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply)
