Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 12-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) serving a pediatric patient population
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:1 and 2:1 in accordance with unit standards and patient acuity
• Operate and monitor equipment including Nihon Kohden monitoring systems and Draeger ventilators
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Cerner EHR
• Work every third weekend as part of the standard scheduling rotation
• Float to a secondary unit (typically NICU) as needed based on staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of PICU experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Ability to float to a secondary unit such as NICU

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health records
• Familiarity with Nihon Kohden monitoring systems and Draeger ventilators
• Prior travel nursing experience in a pediatric critical care setting
