Job Title
Demonstrates through behavior Decatur Morgan Hospital's mission, vision and values.
Under direct supervisor utilizes knowledge and skills to assist in assigned direct patient care as appropriate to the patient's physical and developmental age, maintaining a primary focus on a safe and therapeutic environment.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:
- Uses common sense and special skills to care for patients.
- Understand technical information applicable to job function and caring for patients.
- Responds quickly in an emergency with appropriate action.
- Communicate with people.
- Changes from one duty to another frequently.
- Follows and/or gives precise instructions.
- Records and interprets information accurately.
Education: Psych Tech II- BS degree preferably in psychology or social services.
Experience: Health care experience is desirable.
