About the Position

Job Title: RN Step Down Profession: RN Step Down Specialty: RN Step Down Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification Must-Have: Successful completion of a proctored rhythm test Description: We are looking for highly motivated nurses to help in a Cardiac Unit. You will care for a variety of heart failure patients. The unit has a capacity of 23 beds. The population served includes advanced heart failure, cardiomyopathy, acute coronary syndrome, pre and post cardiac surgery, and other related cardiac disorders. Patients served range from young adults through late adults (ages 18 to 60+). The nurse to patient ratio is 5:1. A registered nurse assumes full responsibility for the patients on each team. Additional certifications required include BLS, ACLS, and NIH Certification.
