Childcare Teachers

Do you love playing and caring for children? Do hugs and kisses make you smile? We seek Lead and Floater Teachers to help care for children and work in multiple rooms. You must be able to sit on the floor and get up quickly. Also able to lift around 30 pounds onto a changing table.

We seek motivated, energetic, and creative individuals committed to becoming childcare professionals. Candidates must work well with a diverse group of children of various ages, stages, and backgrounds. In addition to a fun, supportive, and flexible work environment, paid on-the-job training will also be provided. You will gain the tools to turn a job into a career! Eligible candidates must be 18 years or older.

Job Summary and Responsibilities:

• Maintain daily open communication & professional relationships with parents.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Arrange a daycare environment in accordance with program goals and philosophy.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment.
• Attend training and staff meetings.
• Dress children and change diapers.
• Interact with children on their level.
• Perform housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, dishwashing, and changing linens.
• Sanitize toys and play equipment.
• Prepare healthy snacks.

Job Details/Requirements:

• Business Name - Montessori Learning Center
• Classification: non-exempt
• Copy of High School Diploma or equivalent
• Salary or Hourly Pay Range: Hourly + BONUSES!
• Experience: Experience in childcare is preferred
• Must have reliable transportation to the job location.
• Working conditions -always in person, may be required to lift 40 pounds, employees should expect to be on their feet.

Job Types: Part Time

Salary: $11.50 - $14.00 per hour
