Floor Technician

Start immediately - Floor Technician with Janitorial Experience. Night shifts with a flexible schedule, including some weekends and occasional long hours. We seek a strong desire to learn and grow in floor care. This role offers hands‑on training and exposure to multiple floor care methods, an excellent entry point into a long‑term career. Schedule and Location Fort Lauderdale Three (3) weeks per month: 6:00 PM to 3:30 AM (warehouse‑based) One (1) week per month (urgent care): 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM (warehouse‑based) Occasional open schedule shifts on weekends (Saturday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM) What You’ll Do Experience in waxing and stripping floors. Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization. Perform all assigned tasks professionally. Clean and maintain all floors, tile, and carpets. Utilize appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure. Observe safety precautions. Operate floor care equipment safely and effectively. Apply commercial cleaning techniques, including carpet cleaning, buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing. Work independently or as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment. Report safety hazards as appropriate. Adhere to dress code, wearing company uniform. Report to work on time. Represent the organization positively and professionally. Comply with all company policies and standard procedures. Communicate the mission, ethics, and goals of the organization. What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 1 year of floor technician experience. Flexible availability (days, weekends, on‑call). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities. Detail‑oriented and meticulous. Strong problem‑solving and time‑management skills. Positive attitude and team‑oriented mindset. Strong safety awareness and proactive leadership. Pass a background check and drug test. Bilingual English & Spanish preferred. Physical Requirements In good physical condition; able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift for extended periods. Capable of lifting, carrying, and moving 25 pounds or more regularly. Able to work on feet for long periods and perform repetitive physical tasks. #J-18808-Ljbffr
