Orthopedic Surgeon

Physician – MH Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Farmington Schedule: Full Time – Day Shift | Req: 73733 MaineHealth Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is seeking a BC/BE physician to join their busy and dynamic group in a hospital‑employed practice located in Farmington, Maine. The successful candidate will provide general orthopedic outpatient, inpatient, and surgical care while also having the opportunity to develop their practice within a subspecialty interest. The physician will work alongside skilled orthopedic surgeons, a podiatrist, and advanced practice providers in our orthopedics program, supported by a diverse physical rehabilitation department and collaboration across the MaineHealth orthopedic surgery service line. Responsibilities Provide general orthopedic outpatient, inpatient, and surgical care. Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, podiatrists, and APPs within the orthopedics program. Develop and grow a subspecialty practice within the group. Engage in team‑based, collaborative care model. Minimum Qualifications MD/DO from an accredited medical school. Active and unrestricted State of Maine medical license, or ability to obtain one prior to employment. Board Certified or Board Eligible in orthopedics.
