Travel RN – Post Anesthesia Care (PACU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (24 Weeks) | Full-Time | Days | 12-Hour Shifts | 36–48 Hours Per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Phase 1 and Phase 2 post-anesthesia care for a diverse surgical patient population including cardiac, vascular, robotic, and pediatric cases
• Deliver pre-operative and post-operative nursing care for procedures including Cath, EP, TEE Cardioversion, TAVR, and vascular surgeries
• Monitor and manage patients utilizing telemetry, A-lines, IV pumps, PCAs, epidurals, and cardiac drips
• Perform groin management, EKG interpretation, and telemetry strip reading
• Float as needed to PACU, IMC, and ICU units within the facility
• Participate in every-other-weekend scheduling including Saturday day shifts and on-call requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (or pending state license may be considered)
• Minimum 3 years of recent PACU experience required
• ICU experience required
• Trauma Level 1 experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with pre- and post-procedure care for TEE/CV, Cath, EP, and OR procedures
• Familiarity with Epic EMR
• Experience caring for pediatric cardiac catheterization patients
