School Bus Drivers

Palmer Bus Service is hiring School Bus Drivers across Southern Minnesota! This is a regional job posting, meaning you only need to apply once. During the screening process, you'll be asked to choose your preferred location from our 15 Southern MN sites.

We proudly serve MN schools: Schools like Adrian, Austin, Barrett, Bovey, Montgomery, Nashwauk, Shakopee, St. Cloud, Zumbrota and many more. Check out our website for a full listing of schools we serve.

Apply once and choose the location that works best for you! Your school district not on that list? That's okay. Go ahead and choose the "other" option.

Whether you're new to driving or already have your CDL, we offer paid training, a flexible schedule, and a supportive, safety-first culture.

What You'll Do:

  • Safely transport students to and from school
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Perform pre-trip inspections
  • Keep the bus clean and fueled
  • Enforce safe and respectful student behavior
  • Occasionally drive for field trips, sports, or special events
  • Report any incidents or concerns to your Site Manager

What You'll Need:

  • Valid MN driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and DOT physical
  • CDL with passenger, school bus, and air brake endorsements (we provide paid training if needed)
  • Patience, reliability, and a strong commitment to student safety
