What You'll Do:

• Conduct Diagnostic Testing: Perform tests such as arterial blood gases (ABGs) and pulmonary function tests, and help interpret results to guide care plans.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized respiratory care plans.
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide education on the use of respiratory equipment, proper care techniques, and lifestyle changes to improve respiratory health.
• Ensure Equipment and Record Maintenance: Maintain respiratory equipment, ensuring it functions correctly, while ensuring accurate documentation of all care provided.

Qualifications:

• Active CRT license in the State of Louisiana
• NBRC Certification as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• New grads are encouraged to apply
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
