The Nurse: Patient Ratio is 1:4 to 1:5 based on acuity and staffing. Patient Population: IMC/Med Surg- Anticipate DKA, Alcohol Withdrawal, COPD exacerbation, Sickle Cell crisis, CHF exacerbation, Renal Failure, Dehydration, I&D Education Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required Certification/Licensure Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standingBasic Life Support (BLS)ACLSNIH Stroke Scale Experience Must have 2 or more years of recent acute care hospital RN experienceThe Registered Nurse will work in a collaborative role as part of a team to maintain and support the standards of nursing care and practice, in order to meet the health care needs of patients, their families, and the community.As aRegistered Nursewith Sentara, you can excel in your career.
